The Berkshire County area Rapid Response team includes:

The Berkshire County Rapid Response program has four phases:
1. Notification
When you are facing layoffs, call your regional Rapid Response team at (413) 586-6506 x 118.
2. Rapid Response Team Meeting
Schedule an initial on-site meeting with the Rapid Response team and your employees to provide an overview of services and develop an action plan.
3. Project Implementation
Your Rapid Response team will help locate sources of funding for unemployment insurance and employee training, and help you jump-start your transition programs.
4. Technical Assistance and Information Sharing
Our team will share information, procedures, and lessons learned in order to continually improve your operations and our responsiveness to your needs.

The Berkshire County area Rapid Response program has resources available for both you and your employees:

· Trade or Transitional Adjustment program access

Resources for your Employees
Skilled professionals will conduct a series of workshops to help your workers quickly obtain new employment. Workshop topics may include:

Career Transition—adjusting to unemployment, assessing skills and abilities, and accessing WorkSource services
· Job Search—how to begin, where to look, and where to find job placement assistance
· Resume Writing—basic resume formats, relevant information, and effective presentation techniques
· Interviewing Skills—interview preparation, guidelines for a successful interview, and interviewing do’s and don’ts
